With a curiosity of an explorer and a sharp eye of a scholar, Anne Dippel has been embarking upon journeys into various anthropological research fields. She spent two and a half years with poets and writers of Vienna, analysing the processes of national identity formation in Austria (Dichten und Denken in Österreich. Eine literarische Ethnographie, 2015). Currently, she is taking under examination the realm of particle collisions, wave interferences, and simulated data depictions. Since 2013 she has been doing fieldwork at CERN, the heart of High-Energy Physics.
